I thought that you can get depth gauges repaired at an LDS. In any event you should be able to swap it out. The warrenty should still be good. I think that most warranties are two years.

They best knives for hardness will be the ones made from 416 or 17-4 as long as they are heat treated. Watch out for 416 though since it can corrode.

Feeding sharks would be bad. Chumming seems just as bad. At least fresh water fish can't eat you or a piece of you. I would have second thoughts about salt water spear fishing for just this reason.

Whoa, that is bad. My guess is that there is some reason he can't certify you. I would call PADI right away. Souds like you have already paid. The LDS should certify you and give you your money back.

I don't put a lot of stock in those bracelets. The dramamine does it for me. I did a my discover suba dive on the GBR. On my way out there I turned green.
