My wife has had one for about 10 months 40 dives no problems yet but thanks for the heads up

Same here - I've had mine for about 4 or 5 months (40-something dives on it) and so far so good (knock wood). I've heard of folks having battery issues with them before, but I've also heard that Aeris is very good about taking care of problems with their computers.
